About Rayna

RAYNA (watch my video!) Female, spayed 8 years old Pit Bull Terrier 72 lbs. Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Good with sheep (yes, you read that right!), curious about chickens, not tested with cats or kids, not good with dogs at this time Meet Rayna – A True Survivor with Endless Love to Give
Rayna has been through more in her 8 years than any dog ever should, but you'd never know it now. When LOVEPAWS rescued her, it was clear she'd had a hard-knock life. Likely bred for years, she arrived with itchy, inflamed skin and ears, broken teeth, and lumps and bumps in all of the wrong places. This poor girl truly looked miserable. But Rayna is nothing if not a fighter. Thanks to excellent veterinary care, every concerning mass was removed with clean margins or turned out to be benign, and she finally got the dental work she deserved. Her ears and skin healed beautifully, and though she'll need to stay on a special diet and medication to manage her allergies (common for her breed), she is now thriving — feeling like a whole new woman. These days, Rayna is soaking up the good life on her foster's farm. She loves sunbathing (because a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to look her best), keeping watch over the property (naturally, she's the Queen B ), and even making friends with the sheep (though she admits she's a little jealous of their curly coats). She's happiest in the peace and quiet of the country and would thrive in a forever home away from the hustle and bustle of city life. She's still fine-tuning her potty training and leash manners, but hey — even Beyoncé had to rehearse before hitting the big stage. Her off-duty uniform? Adorable jammies. Her full-time job? Gazing into your soul until you fall in love (spoiler: it works every time). Gentle, affectionate, and deeply people-oriented, Rayna bonds quickly and assumes you'll rearrange your schedule (and couch space) around her cuddle needs — which, let's be honest, you will. Don't let her age fool you — Rayna is playful, silly, and sometimes downright goofy. She adores toys, chewies, and especially her beloved red tumbler ball (she just can't get enough of it!). The quickest way to her heart? A tasty snack. And if that's not on the menu, she'll happily settle for snuggles… preferably in bulk. Rayna would love to be your one and only, because sharing is overrated. Sudden flailing arms or loud shrieks? Not her favorite, so older children would be a better fit. But she's learning fast that life doesn't have to be scary… as long as you promise steady love and the occasional treat bribe to seal the deal. After too many years being tossed aside like yesterday's laundry, Rayna truly deserves to be spoiled, fawned over, and adored — the diva of every couch, sunbeam, and heart she claims. She's battled hard for a second chance at life… now she just needs a loving human to fight for her too, by giving her the forever home she's been dreaming of (throne optional, belly rubs mandatory Interested in adopting?
