About MITCH
Mitch is a 2 year old 61lb neutered male Labrador Retriever mix. He came in as a stray on 4/23/21, so we do not have any background information on him. He has been friendly and outgoing here at the shelter. He is heartworm negative. We are open by appointment only to ensure we can properly social distance here at the shelter. We cannot guarantee a specific pet or type of pet will be available at your appointment. We do not hold pets. We operate on a first come first serve basis and while you can put what/who you are interested in in the appointment sign up, all appointments are general dog/cat/other animal appointments since we cannot guarantee what will be available at the time of your appointment. If you would like to set up a non-specific dog or cat appointment we have our scheduling system online now at:https://www.guilfordcountync.gov/our-county/animal-services/animal-shelter/animal-adoption-schedulingAll adopted cats and dogs at Guilford County Animal Services come fully up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting any of our pets, please visit our website to schedule an appointment online. If you believe this may be your pet, please come to the shelter during business hours and bring your ID, proof of ownership, and proof of spay/neuter and/or rabies vaccination history if you have it. See our reclaiming your pet page for more information. If you have any further questions, please contact us at 336-641-3400 or visit our website at https://www.guilfordcountync.gov/our-county/animal-services/animal-shelter.Thank you for your interest in helping the animals of Guilford County!
