About Leila

Leila is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix born in approximately February 2019 and rescued in South Carolina. Leila has had a very rough start to life and has been working very hard with a behaviorist to erase the remnants of that life. Leila absolutely loves other dogs and she must have a doggy sibling in her forever home. Her forever place will be a single famiy home in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in yard and no young children. Leila is crate trained and house trained, but she wants nothing to do with a leash. She can be talkative. Leila is a bit reserved when meeting new people and she is hoping to meet someone who understands it might take her a little while to warm up. Once she is comfortable, she'll love you forever! Leila needs a very experienced owner who will commit to continued training. Leila is a work in progress, but with the right person, she will flourish and the investment will have been well worth it! We know that special person is out there for Leila.
