About Eve

Howl-o! My name is Eve, as in New Year's Eve! My New Year's resolution is to finally find my furever family! Before I came to rescue I spent a whole year in a small shelter waiting, but I never gave up hope! Now I'm one step closer and learning what it's like to live in a home with dogs and people who love me! I'm a super sweet and beautiful senior husky with a whole lot to offer! For starters, I'm snuggly and I love to be petted! I will ask for more petties if you stop too soon. I love sleeping in my crate with the door open. I'm trustworthy in the house and have never tried to get into anything. I like to be outside too. I get along great with the three dogs here in my foster home. I don't have much of a prey drive and I ignored the kitties when I was at the shelter, so I may be ok living with a dog savvy cat. I'm a lower energy girl. I have moments of playfulness, but I'm a little unsure of exactly HOW to play. You might see more of my carefree fun side once I relax and get more comfortable. I'm also a very chunky monkey and need to lose about 15 pounds. I'm currently on the green bean diet and I'd love to find someone who will take me for walkies and help me meet my fitness goals! I will need a little time to decompress and get comfortable in my new home. I can't wait to get settled in with people who love and care for me. Could that be you?
