About Leah

Meet Leah — a two year old, 40 lb bundle of joy! She wallows in her baths, lives for her walks, and absolutely loves playtime. Leah is a big puppy at heart with lots of energy and a fun-loving personality. She plays rough with other dogs and doesn't always realize her own size, so she would do best with a dog who can match her play style. She would also be perfectly happy as your one and only pup, soaking up all the love and attention.Leah is good with cats and even chickens! She is friendly with everyone she meets and truly a social butterfly who is always excited to make new friends. Because of her energy and enthusiasm, she would do best with older kids.She spent some time working with a trainer and learned a lot, but like any young dog she will need an adopter who is committed to continuing her training and helping her keep building on those skills. Leah is very food motivated and will do almost anything for treats, which makes training fun and rewarding for her.She rides well in the car, is very curious about the world around her, crates well, and is happiest when she's close to her people (personal space is still a work in progress!).
