About Melody

Calling all runners! Melody runs alongside her human beautifully! Squirrels might cause her to lose focus (at 1, she's still a young 'un), but her focus returns quickly. Other dogs excite her, and she wants to make friends with everyone. She's a lover, not a fighter. It will help if her forever human has good arm strength & the ability to be consistent with training, after all at 70lbs, this beauty is strong too!She's a bit of a spaz (remember her age) and learning to play gently with smaller dogs. She enjoys chew toys and treats, is very interested in everything around her, and we're working on controlling her urge to jump like a pogo stick!She is potty-trained, crate-trained and as much as she wants to play, she is great staying in her kennel during quiet time. She returns quickly after pottying, and likes to keep her eyes on the human watching her, perhaps worried about being left behind...Someone is going to be incredibly lucky to get this girl.All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption.
