About Daquillo

Daquillo, or “Daq” as his friends call him, is a sweet, mid-sized pup with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Though he's a bit of a worrier, Daq is blossoming more every day and showing just how much joy he has to offer. He's a cuddle bug at heart and loves being close to his people—he'll be your shadow, following you from room to room with those irresistible puppy eyes that will melt your heart. Daq is especially gentle and intuitive, doing wonderfully around children, including those with autism. Daq is full of playful energy! He's a big fan of tug-of-war (even with the tiniest toy) and could chase a tennis ball for hours. He's also learning to enjoy the simple pleasures of life—like car rides, daily walks, and cozy naps in his crate (even if he still prefers not to be crated when you're away). He's a smart boy who already knows “sit” and “down,” and he walks nicely on a leash. He's quickly picked up on his foster family's routine and is thriving with structure and love. Daq also gets along great with other dogs—he and his buddy Ox can play tug-of-war for an hour straight!
