About MR CHAOS

Hi there… I’m Mr. Chaos! (But don’t worry—the name is totally misleading.) I know what you’re thinking: “Chaos?” That sounds like a lot. But here’s the truth- I’m actually a laid-back, snuggly senior gentleman with a big heart and even bigger love for couch time.I’m 9 years old, which means I’ve mastered the important things in life: relaxing, appreciating snacks, and soaking up every cuddle I can get. My family recently went through a split, and I found myself here at the shelter, patiently waiting for my next chapter. It’s been a little confusing at first, but every day I’m getting more comfortable and showing the staff just how sweet I really am.They’ve learned that I’m a pretty simple guy. Give me a cozy spot, some kind words, and maybe a few snacks, and I’m one happy pup. My favorites? Peanut butter (obviously), carrots, and green beans. If you happen to bring snacks, I promise to love you forever. I also come with some great house manners! I’m crate trained and housebroken, so I already know the ropes when it comes to living in a home.I’d prefer to be the only dog in the house so I can soak up all your attention. I did live with other dogs before, but here at the shelter I’ve decided I’d rather skip the dog park drama. The good news? I’ve lived with cats and kids ages 6+, and my previous family said I did great with them.Mostly, I’m just looking for a peaceful home where I can trade my “Chaos” reputation for what I really love: quiet companionship, warm snuggles, and being your loyal best friend. If you’ve got a comfy couch and room in your heart for a sweet senior like me, I’d love to meet you. I’ll be the handsome guy waiting with a wagging tail and a snuggle ready to go.Love,Mr. Chaos If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.I am a senior dog that is eligible for the Senior 2 Senior Adoption Program! The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption fee: $95.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older.
