About Yoshi

Yoshi is a young male Akita weighing approximately 80 lbs. He is very handsome and still growing. During the first few months of his life he only had limited exposure to the world outside of his previous home. Yoshi is highly intelligent and wants someone who will stimulate his mind and teach him new skills. It takes him a little bit of time to warm up to strangers and get used to them so it will take more than one visit before he is ready to go home. Because of his cautious demeanor, he would do best in a calm and consistent environment with a good human leader to make him feel safe and help him develop into a more well rounded canine. He would do best with a breed experienced home that respects his space and positively encourages him as he learns what this world has to offer. He is confident and a happy easy keeper, that loves exploring. He would thrive with someone who believes in him as he learns what being a loved and accepted doggy is like.
