8/11/2025Daisy VIII is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Daisy VIII ! I am a beautiful 5-6 year old fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to my owner being in a nursing home and unable to care for me any longer and my caretaker cannot keep me. I am described as friendly, calm, quiet, obedient, and affectionate! I currently live with a resident pit mix and we love each other. I protect her at the dog park but I'm stingy with my food so we must be fed separately. I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly but I do not like squirrels so a proper introduction to cats would be needed. My caretaker's 12 year old grandson has been staying over the summer and we are basically best friends! I have exceptional leash training manners, am house trained, but would need assistance with crate training manners if that is required in my forever home. At night I sleep with the human kid, on the dog bed in the bedroom, on the sofa, or on any pillow I can find because I love pillows! If the humans must be away and I am left alone, I sleep by the door that they exit. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, squeaky stuffed animals, looking into the eyes of humans, and putting my head on pillows brings me pure joy!
