About Bandit

Bandit is a 7-year-old Chihuahua with long legs, big eyes, and the sweetest little “deer” look you've ever seen. At around 5 pounds, he may be tiny — but his personality is pure love.Bandit is a total Velcro dog. He wants to be with his person at all times and would happily be your little shadow from room to room. He loves being held, snuggling in laps, and will gently rub his face all over you when he's feeling extra affectionate. If you're looking for a devoted companion, he's your guy. He's doing great with the small dogs and cat in his foster home and largely keeps to himself. He's a bit unsure of large dogs, which is understandable given his size. He could be an only dog or live with other gentle dogs just fine.Bandit walks nicely on leash and does well outside. He is potty trained but does have some difficulty holding his bladder for long periods, so he'll do best with a home that can offer regular potty breaks. He is kennel trained (primarily used during mealtime) but otherwise enjoys having free roam and snoozing on the couch. We are recommending a home without young children. Bandit would thrive in a calm environment where he can feel secure and bond closely with his person. He would be a wonderful choice for someone new to the Chihuahua breed — he's affectionate, manageable, and eager to love.
