About Hermes
Meet Hermes This beautiful brindle little man is Hermes, and we believe he’s just about 1 year old. Two weeks ago, Hermes was found running loose in Lake Station. Animal Control couldn’t pick him up due to jurisdiction issues, which left this poor boy stuck — cold, alone, and with nowhere to go. Hermes is a short-haired terrier, not built to survive winter weather on his own. Thankfully, a good Samaritan stepped in, took him out of the cold, and kept him safe while efforts were made to find his owner. After two weeks, sadly, no one came forward. So today, we say — Welcome to the Guardians, you beautiful boy. Hermes has already shown us just how special he is: ✅ Potty trained Gets along great with the resident dog Chased the cat a little (terrier gonna terrier ) Absolutely loves kids Thriving in a foster home environment A huge thank-you to Mike and Rebecca for picking him up, keeping him safe, and opening their home to foster him. This is how lives are saved — one compassionate yes at a time. Hermes is now fully vetted, microchipped, and today he proudly took the “No Puppies for Me” pledge with his Neuter Is Cuter surgery. Thank you to our amazing vet partners at Coyne Veterinary Center for getting him in so quickly and taking such great care of him. ✨ Hermes is ready to find his forever family. A warm couch. A family to love. A life where he never has to wonder if help is coming. Stay tuned — this little guy’s next chapter is just beginning
