About Poet

Meet Poet! Poet is a sweet older girl rescued from a Florida high kill shelter on her last day before euthanasia. She is definitely a people dog and absolutely adores her human companions. When she's around humans, she wiggles her tail so much, the back half of her body wiggles with it! On the other hand, she is not a fan of small dogs or cats - her prey drive is strong. Poet truly prefers to be the star of her family. This includes being around them the majority of the day as she does suffer from separation anxiety.
